Cybereps Acquires Perfect Circle Media
Cybereps, an interactive marketing and media sales firm funded by Interep (Nasdaq:IREP), announced today it has acquired Perfect Circle Media from Freerealtime, Inc.
Perfect Circle Media (PCM) is a new-media advertising sales firm providing media solutions to the financial category. Launched in September 2000, by Jim Henderson and John Abraham, PCM has a roster of 20 web sites that include Reuters, jagfn.tv, On24, Patagon, Idea Advisor, 123jump.com, redchip.com and others that contribute to more than 150 million monthly page views.
Under terms of the acquisition agreement, PCM will operate as a stand alone, independent rep firm under the Cybereps/Interep umbrella. This will enable PCM to leverage the Cybereps/Interep infrastructure, including offices nationwide, a full range of research tools, and other resources that will help ensure the company's continued success.
Adam Guild, President of Business and Corporate Development at Cybereps, said: "We are thrilled to welcome Perfect Circle Media into the Cybereps/Interep family. We admire the fact that they have created and built a strong company in such a short period of time. The PCM acquisition makes us the largest independent financial rep firm and fits nicely with our strategy for profitability."
John Abraham, Senior VP Sales of Perfect Circle Media, said: "We are confident that our association with Cybereps/Interep will provide us with the tools and resources we need to take our company to the next stage of its evolution. Cybereps and Interep have a very positive, well-deserved reputation in the advertising industry, and we are delighted to be selling beside them."
