DoubleClick Loses a Customer, Causes Jitters (Forbes.com, July 12th)
DoubleClick's stock has been battered recently, following concerns about the possibility of the federal government clamping down on the company's use of consumer data. The announcement this week that CBS's portal iWon.com would be cancelling its contract with DoubleClick and instead serve ads using Engage Media's software, triggered a further downhill slide in the company's stock value.
